Ecology, Management and Restoration of California Annual Grasslands. This 3-day short course at UC Davis will cover a wide variety of topics including ecological history of California grasslands, livestock grazing and watershed management, yellow starthistle control, managing for biological diversity, prescribed burning, ecological restoration principles, grassland and riparian restoration, non-point pollution, and habitat value of the annual grassland ecosystem.
