I in no way endorse (or have any knowledge which would enable me to
comment on) this message, and have no idea who is hiding anonymously
behind the "Harvey Nehgila" name, but am just forwarding it:

David Stumpo, Muni's last remaining manager with both experience
and talent, has given up and will return to his former job in Texas.
Stumpo had recently been named Director of Operations as the
part of Emilio Cruz's "reorganization" that actually made sense, but
the plan was overruled by the hacks on the Transportation
Commission, in favor of the current incompetent (but politically
connected) Director.

Stumpo is doubtless the last person of knowledge and ability that
Muni will ever see, as long as the jobs require working for three
levels of idiots with no transit knowledge (Director, Commission,
Mayor) that have unfettered ability to meddle anyway.
