Yes, the PTC will be meeting as usual on 8/11, at the
working-stiff-friendly (sort of) hour of 5 p.m. at the Veterans Building.
The Vets bldg is on Van Ness at McAllister. I forget which room it is,
but if you ask they will surely tell you.
RM AGENDA: Speak out against the Fast Pass Plus. If they tell you
there's no time for public comment, point out that it's required by law
(ask David Pilpel, david.pilpel@sierraclub.org, for details). Ask
members one-on-one to vote no on this fare increase. Point out that we
have proposed a better alternative (again, ask David for details - I'm
unfortunately out of town.)
They are likely to rubberstamp it, but it's definitely worth going, if
for no other reason than to show the city that the riders here assembled
aren't pleased.
