Long Island Railroad's Jamaica interlocking, and MetroNorth's Park
Avenue interlocking both have incredible levels of service, and both
have been recently rebuilt, with minimal levels of disruption. There
should be no reason why the Diamond and MMT should not work as a unit.
If there is risk of collision, then the signal system is not functional
(btw-this particular problem was solved in the 19th century).
