in terms of operating through MSR's Mint Division (pardon me - Duboce
Yard), there is only a single yard lead from the outbound F-line track,
so only one track would need to be cleared...and this track is already
clear...it is the ACTS test track...and is often used by Muni to store
bad cars (this afternoon, 5 Bredas occupied the track, as many as 4 at
one time). MSR's concerns would probably have to do with security.
The J would only use Duboce outbound, as there is an inbound Church to
Market St switch installed. Operating via Noe and 17th is a 3 extra
block dogleg.

>One possibility might be to make the rear half larger, with the engines in the rear, in "push" design. But this would mean a new bus design.
Actually, Muni has all three possibilities on the property: MAN artics:
center axle driven, Flyer artics: rear axle driven, Flyer TC artics:
both axles driven.

should be a functional transportation option for both tourists and
residents...and would be, if operators followed the schedule. There is
NO Excuse for what passes for operation on Cables.
