Right now, virtually no Metro operator is going to do ANYTHING without
Orders...either from central control or a street supervisor. Doing so
is very likely to lead to disciplinary action. And after you have been
told by central control to (more or less) `shut up and drive' a few
times, you are unlikely to volunteer to get slapped down again. I
understand some street supervisors have also gotten in trouble for
taking initiative.

Also a note in response to an old message...at least once a three car
breda train was sent into the MMT and blew out the overhead...
