You know what I do if an N turns into a J while I'm on, hoping
to go downtown? I stay on till Church and Market and walk down
into the Tunnel to catch a K, L, or M downtown. That's 3 routes
possible instead of waiting for 1. (Of course, once I did that
and then waited for a LONG time at the Church station, so I'm
taking my chances, but I'm sure that statistically, it's a MUCH
better shot than following the directions of the driver, who I've
ALWAYS heard say to wait at Church and Dubose for the next N).
Now, the one exception was when I saw an N coming out of Sunset
Tunnel...
