Dear Mayor Brown,
I urge you to appoint a member of RescueMUNI, the MUNI riders
organization to your MUNI taskforce.
The initial members reported in Saturday's SF Chronicle are all
members of the Board of Supervisors. Frankly these are people who have
made political careers AVOIDING asking hard questions about MUNI
operations, behavior that has lead us to the current sorry situation.
If your task force is to have any success it must have
representation from people who actually have experince with MUNI. I think
RescueMUNI would be a good source for a person like that.
