>From SF Bike PAC: a party for supe candidate, Rescue Muni member, and
endorsee Tom Ammiano. He is a frontrunner (along with member & endorsee
Gavin Newsom and candidates' night no-show Mabel Teng) for the board
presidency & is looking for your support.

>From his mailer: "One of the problems with Muni is that the people who
are in charge of fixing it don't ride it." He's there with Fast Pass in
hand. Pretty cool!

Note: Valet bus parking will not be provided, but there are many
convenient routes (all Muni Metro, plus 22 and 37) that serve Cafe du
Nord.

YOU ARE INVITED...
To join San Francisco's -- and perhaps the country's -- first Bike PAC at
a
fun(d)raising party for Supervisor Tom Ammiano, the most transit-friendly,
bicycle-friendly, and pedestrian-friendly Supe around.

TWO-WHEELERS FOR TOM: PEDALING FOR THE PRESIDENCY!
Wednesday, October 28th, 5:30pm-7:30pm
The Parsonage, 198 Haight St. @ Laguna
For info., call 415-626-4263, or email sfbikepac@mailcity.com

The SF Bike PAC was created just a few months ago to help
healthy-transportation advocates provide support for candidates who have
proven their transit-first records. As a member of the Board of
Supervisors, Tom Ammiano has repeatedly shown his strong support of
bicycling and alternative transportation. Just a few weeks ago, Supervisor
Ammiano introduced legislation to install bike lanes on Fifth Street,
between Market and Townsend Streets, by removing one auto traffic lane. He
is also preparing legislation to increase the safety and convenience of
San
Francisco for pedestrians. And, he's the only supervisor with a Muni
fastpass -- and he uses it!

Please, come to the party on Oct. 28th to help show the community's
support
for Ammiano's transit-friendly policies and to meet the Supervisor in
person. We'll have cocktails and snacks. And don't forget to bring your
checkbooks to support the campaign. (Valet bike parking provided!)
