When I was young (don't you just hate that comment?) we were taught that
pedestrians and bikers must wear light clothing at night. Ever since blue
denim became the universal, this has gone by the boards. It is very difficult
to see pedestrains and bikers at night when they are wearing dark
clothing---esepcially in rainy weather.
