[Rescue Muni] Newsom for Transportation Comm Chair?

So Supervisor and Rescue Muni member Tom Ammiano is the new president of
the Board of Supervisors, and Supervisor and Rescue Muni member Gavin
Newsom came in a strong second over no-show Mabel Teng.

What say we recommend Newsom as Transportation Committee chair? He
clearly has a grasp on Muni issues - much more than many of his
colleagues, particularly one trans comm chair who shall remain nameless.
