[Rescue Muni] Tuesday evening Metro

I got to Montgomery Metro Station ca. 8:14 PM. 4 trains left in the next 16
minutes: 2 J's and 2 N's. Then an M came, (the back was labeled "K" and the
P A announcement had said the next train was to be an "L": an example of
Muni as all things to all people?) , then 2 single car L's , another M and
finally a K.
As I got off the first L at Castro, and we ascended the stairs, the second L
pulled into the station. One side of the coin s that this is a ridiculous
use of resources, and of course the other side of the coin is that,
implicitly, there was a long gap between L's somewhere else that night.....
Four Duboce Portal trains in a row, followed by 5 West Portal trains in a
row.....
