Naturally, there are no warnings of delays upstairs before you drop your money
into the turnstiles. Only after you've paid does one ever discover what's
going on down there. Three different trains are bunched up in the station,
not going anywhere. I boarded one, hoping for the best. After 5 minutes, the
doors finally closed and we were off...a whopping 5 feet, then the doors fly
open and we're just sitting there again! We sat longer with no announcements,
no nothing.
By this point 10 minutes had passed, and I was STILL at Powell Street! At
this rate it would be at least a half hour to move 2 stations, so I gave up
and switched to BART, but of course no refund for the $1 I wasted on MUNI.
