Far from it! Rescue Muni has continued to note in the press (when
quoted!) that the Metro isn't fixed, and we opposed the Booz-Allen
funding precisely because we felt that it wouldn't do much of anything
except waste money and (maybe) provide political cover for the mayor.
I would also note our Muni Reform Initiative efforts, on which the RM
steering committee has been spending lots of its time lately. (We emailed
out a detailed notice a few weeks ago, and will again shortly; we will
have more general meetings on this topic in January and later in the
spring.) So far as I can tell, the last thing Willie wants is
fundamental reform, particularly in an election year, and that's what
we're working on.
