and that one person who can singlehandedly put a negative spin on an
entire day
[edited] horrible traffic today...busted my ass for 3 hours to provide
service on the 41-Union (still losing 30+ minutes per trip), no breaks,
no bathroom, and this (female passenger) gets on and lights into me
because she has been waiting for an hour, etc. I didn't say anything,
because I would have (generated complaints), and despite consideration,
I didn't break down and take the bus out of service( the bus actually
did have bad brakes and I was at the last location I could pull in
without big hills). The irony is that 1) if I had taken the switchback
to get on time I would have left (her) waiting, maybe for a long time,
because I came through after the last bus was supposed to.
