I'm all in favor of the G line to Golden Gate Park, but just a minor
correction to Andrew's message about the cost savings to taxpayers compared
to building a parking garage in GG Park. My understanding is that the
garage that is being planned (perhaps without proper approvals, according
to last week's Bay Guardian) for GG Park is to be funded entirely with
private money, so there is no taxpayer money to be saved if the garage is
not built.
