I was coming back from the NE maxima meet and I was about 5 miles from my
house.  I was minding my own business in the middle lane and the WRX came
cruising by my left.  He cut infront of me and flashed his hazards.  I
guess that was a signal that he wanted a piece.  I quickly followed him.
He had his windows down and he had two friends with him.  There was traffic
so I just followed and hoping for some open roads ahead.  After a mile or
so we both exited off the highway.  After the exit, we both slowed down to
40mph on a nice straight road.  By this time I knew it was on.  I fliped
the remote bottle opener and the nitrous gauge was reading in the 890psi
range.  Kinda of low but no time to warm up the bottle.  I armed the system
and I was ready for some fun.  We were crawling side by side and we put
some distance between the traffic ahead.  We did three runs but the first
two had to be cut short due to the traffic ahead.  The last one there was
no traffic ahead.  I gave two quick purged and you should have seen the
expression on his friend's face.  He was going crazy.  We both took off at
the same time and I was able to put 2 cars on him by the time we shut down.
I got him good.  The WRX looked stock from the outside.  I could hear only
a BOV.  I couldn't tell if he had exhaust or not since my car is freaking
loud at WOT.  The exhaust tip looked like OEM.  It turned out a mutual
friend heard about the race from the WRX camp and he IMed me today.  The
WRX was not stock.  Intake, boost controller running some unknow boost,
downpipe, eliminated 3rd cat, Remus exhaust and some type of upper pipe.
As you can tell, I don't know jack about WRX.  My bottle pressure was a bit
low at 890ish.  The car runs really rich at that bottle pressure.  My car
really moves when the bottle pressure is ~980.  I didn't pull away from him
like I usually do to ITRs.  I heard with $2K worth of performance mods, WRX
can run in the 12s.
