Ruth Gravanis & Steven Krefting, Alliance for a Clean Waterfront,
"Sustainable Waste Water Solutions for San Francisco."


Learn about ways that San Francisco can manage its stormwater and
wastewater. The Alliance for a Clean Waterfront, a coalition of 15
environmental and civic organizations involved in alternative technologies
for wastewaste management, will present its vision for an ecologically
sustainable, environmentally just, and cost-effective program that values
water as a resource rather than a waste product to be disposed of.  A slide
show will include examples of sustainable practices that are used elsewhere
and specific ideas for projects that can be implemented in San Francisco.

The Department of the Environment Brown Bag events are informal sessions
hosted by the department for its staff and invited guests.  Contact Nelly
