Dear Environmental Leader,

Please join us for a meeting of "Environmentalists Against the War" in
Berkeley next Thursday, February 6, at 7:30pm.  We'll be meeting in the
Gaia Building at 2116 Allston Way (between Shattuck and UC Berkeley).

The goal of the meeting is to bring together environmentalists who are
deeply concerned about the potential war with Iraq.  We'll be putting
together materials focusing on the environmental impacts of the 1991 Gulf
War and the potential impacts of a new war.  We'll also begin planning a
press conference and other actions that will help get our message out.

If you know of other environmental leaders who should be invited to this
meeting, please forward this message to them and encourage them to contact
me if they can join us, or can't but would like to be kept in the loop.
