climate change and dirty energy in their tracks during this weekend of
education, skills-building, networking and fun!

-Strengthen the student climate network in your state with state
strategy and networking break-out sessions
-Become involved with the 8 student networks working on climate issues

GET TRAINED TO EMPOWER YOURSELF AND OTHERS:

Basic Organizing Skills Trainings:
campaign strategy, coalition building and recruitment, leadership
development, internet organizing, getting local/campus press,
anti-oppression, running good meetings, persuasive speaking, and many
more!
Campus Sustainability Trainings:
green energy purchases, energy efficiency & conservation initiatives,
working with administrators, greenhouse gas inventories, green fleets,
campus success stories, green buildings, climate responsible investing,
and many more!
State Climate Advocacy Trainings:
influencing politicians, climate change impacts in the northeast, a
media framework for conveying climate change to the public, northeast
climate policy background, climate justice, and many more!

LOGISTICS:
*******
1. Housing will be provided for all conference participants! Bring a
sleeping bag and get ready to share floor space.
2. Vegetarian food will be provided for all. Bring a bowl & silverware
to reduce waste.
3. Students are responsible for securing their own transportation to the
conference, but we will help out with arranging carpools, rides
from the airports and train stations. Let us know if you need a ride or
can give one!
4. Donations encouraged, sliding scale $0-$25. No one will be turned
away for lack of funds. Bring your friends, spread the word, and see you
there!
