m>Join
special guest speaker Harold Gilliam to discuss how global climate
patters can affect the weather in San Francisco and the Bay Area.=20
According to Gilliam, San Francisco's diversity is both social and
meteorological with as many climates as there are neighborhoods and
hills and valleys.
Gilliam is author of several books including the rewrite of the
University of California weather book incorporating new early satellite
information. As Sunday columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle from
1961 to 1994, Gilliam interpreted science to make it accessible to
everyone who was interested.
