STOW LAKE THEN AND NOW

Lecture and slides showing Stow Lake from1893 up to
the present-including the changes and restorations completed in 2005. This
jewel in Golden Gate Park is beloved by young and old.

Nancy DeStefanis is the founder and director of San Francisco Nature
Education, a non-profit organization that teaches children and adults about
the wildlife in Golden Gate Park, including Stow Lake.  Nancy will sing her
famous song "My Blue Herons" at the conclusion of the program-backed by
accordion.
