*Greetings,*

I hope you will be able to attend the United Nations World Environment
Day Sponsored Conference in Oakland on Tuesday, May 31st, hosted by
Ecocity Builders. Carl Pope, Executive Director of the Sierra Club, is
our keynote speaker and the conference is titled: Green City Visions --
Rebuilding the City to Save the Environment. The event will bring the
critical relationship between the health of the environment and how we
build the largest things humans create -- cities -- into focus.

World Environment Day, commemorated each year on June 5, is one of the
principal vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide
awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and
action. San Francisco is host city for this year's UN event. Mayors from
all over the world will be attending. The WED theme selected for 2005 is
Green Cities and the slogan is Plan for the Planet!
