Save California's SB1 Million Solar Roofs Initiative

Deadline: Friday September 9, 2005

As expected, the last few steps for SB-1, the California Million Solar
Roofs Bill, really are the hardest. The bill has until the end of the
day tomorrow - Friday Sept. 9th - to get amended and approved.

In its current form, the Million Solar Roofs bill will not be signed by
Governor Schwarzenegger due to recent amendments that would increase
installation costs.

The Legislature still has time to fix the bill and send it to the
Governor in a form that he will sign. The ball is in the Legislature's
court. Please take a moment now to email the Legislature's leadership
today, asking them to help enact good solar legislation.

Please take a moment to contact Assembly Speaker Nunez, Assembly Member
Levine and Senate President Perata
<http://capwiz.com/re-action/utr/1/FWXJEZSKZS/AWDZEZSLEF/> and urge them
to get the job done.
