Thursday, December 15, 2005, 4:30 p.m., San Francisco, CA: Community Rally
to Close PG&E Hunters Point Power Plant. Protest at PG&E headquarters, Beale
and Market Streets. Shut this dirty power plant, support clean, renewable
energy!

 

Tuesday, December 20, 2005, 5:30 p.m. Red Bluff, California: Public hearing
continues on appeal by Greenaction and community of InEnTec's proposed
plasma arc medical waste facility. Red Bluff Community and Senior Center,
1500 South Jackson Street.

 

Thursday, January 5, 2006, 6 p.m. Blanding, Utah:  

State Radiation Control Board hearing on proposal to send more highly
radioactive waste to International Uranium Corporation mill next to White
Mesa Ute Community reservation. Tell the state and IUC to stop dumping on
sacred Indian lands! 

College of Eastern Utah, Arts and Events Auditorium, 639 West 200 South,
Blanding, Utah

 

Friday, January 27, 2006, High Noon, San Jose, CA: Join the Pitt River
Indian Tribe and supporters in an important protest to oppose Calpine's
power plant proposed on very sacred Indian lands at Medicine Lake near Mt.
Shasta.  Meet at Calpine Headquarters, 50 West San Fernando Street, downtown
San Jose.

 

April 11, 2006, noon, San Francisco, CA: Come to the PG&E Hunters Point
power plant to celebrate its closure or to join nonviolent action to shut it
down! Evans & Middlepoint, Bayview Hunters Point, San Francisco.

 

And please take a moment to call your Congresspersons and urge them to vote
to save the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska from Bush's proposed
