Tuesday, April 11, 2006, high noon! Support Bayview Hunters Point residents
who have suffered for decades from the outdated and dirty PG&E Hunters Point
power plant. We are very close to achieving a huge victory with the possible
closure of this plant.
Join this nonviolent action and protest to shut this polluter down once and
for all. Sponsored by Greenaction, Huntersview Mothers Committee, and many
other community and environmental justice allies.
Today! Contact your U.S. congressperson to urge them to vote NO to the
Bush/Cheney/oil industry attempt to drill for oil in the Arctic National
Wildlife Refuge. Tell them you want the Arctic Refuge protected forever from
this threat.
Call the Capital switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to your
congressional representative.
Please donate to Greenaction if you are able! We depend on support from
individuals to continue our work that promotes justice and protects the
environment and health of communities far and wide. You can donate online at
http://www.greenaction.org <http://www.greenaction.org/>
Volunteers are needed to distribute flyers for the April 11th action at
PG&E! Call us if you can help (415) 248-5010
