The Randall Museum" San Francisco Natural History Series presents:
SAN BRUNO MOUNTAIN: WILD NATURE IN PLAIN SIGHT
7:30PM, Thursday, July 27, 2006
Guest speaker Philip Batchelder of San Bruno Mountain Watch will discuss
this island of Franciscan coastal scrub, grassland and oak-bay-buckeye
forest.  A renowned hotspot of rare plants and insects, the mountain is a
test cse for the Endangered Species Act and a grand experimant in
ecological restoration.
This slideshow and talk will be followed on Saturday, July 29th, at 10am,
by a guided hike in the State ecological preserve of Owl and Buckeye
Canyons near Brisbane.
