What: SF Natural History Lecture Series
             ‘A Gathering of Whales and Dolphins’ photos &  
presentation by Doug Kern


In early June, a group of educators working with the National Oceanic  
and Atmospheric Administration had the pleasure of a morning boat  
trip out of the Monterey Bay.  Doug Kern was along on that trip and  
had the good luck to be able to photograph a school of humpback  
whales at close range.  Kern will share those photos and information  
also about the Pacific white-sided dolphins who played in the bow  
wave of the boat.
