Ashkenaz in Berkeley. Headlining the benefit for Greenaction will be the Nu
Snowmen, featuring members of New Monsoon. New Monsoon has been rocking the
national music landscape for several years, selling out venues like the
Fillmore, and getting great reviews at music festivals, like Bonnaroo and
Austin City Limits, across the country. If you like New Monsoon's music, we
guarantee you will want to put on your dancing shoes and come to the
Greenaction benefit.
Special guest Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz, guitarist for KFOG favorite and San
Francisco gem, ALO, will perform a duo set with Bo Carper of New Monsoon.

Jamcruise, this past January.

radio's Dead to the World. Also appearing are The Jolly Gibsons, performing
their sizzling blend of New Orleans funk and jazz/rock jams.
Dance for the Planet is a benefit concert for Greenaction for Health and
Environmental Justice. Greenaction is a Bay Area based non-profit
organization working with communities in the Bay Area and across the country
in campaigns for environmental justice and against environmental racism.
>From campaigns to stop pollution at Pacific Steel Casting in Berkeley and
the Chevron refinery in Richmond, and stopping polluters dumping waste on
Indigenous lands, Greenaction is on the front lines helping communities win
David versus Goliath victories that protect health and the environment. You
