JukeBox for mIRC
JukeBox for mIRC is a script addon which allows one to play and listen for sound
events containing mp3 files. In non-nerd speak, or, layman's terms, it lets you play
mp3s through mIRC. Be aware though, that it is not
a stand alone application, and requires an external app to play the mp3s themselves
(WinAmp works best with the script). Oh, again, in
non-nerd lingo, that meant you need an mp3 player already in order to use the script.
- JukeBox v2.5 for mIRC [4/22/99]
After lots of nagging from friends (you know who you are), I added query support, tada!
- JukeBox v2.4 for mIRC [4/2/99]
I've gotten the entire package into one file, so now it'll be easier to load and
configure. There are a few more changes, mostly cosmetic though.
- JukeBox v2.3 for mIRC [3/11/99]
This version finally alleviates the "can't play files with spaces in them" bug.
It has a better CD setup, a few other changes, not much different cosmetically.
- JukeBox v2.2 for mIRC [3/10/99]
This version has a few cosmetic changes, accompanied by being able to play CD
tracks now, via CDplayer, which comes with windows 95 and 98. A few other changes
with how sound requests are accepted so as to cause less problems, and fixed up
the coding a bit so that it runs faster. Enjoy.
- JukeBox v2.1 for mIRC [3/8/99]
Found two errors in the script, one having to do with the [SOUND] event, the
other was an out-of-bounds loop that may freeze up mirc or your computer, patched
both of them. Should work fine now. Oh, and never got around to that playlist...
- JukeBox v2.0 for mIRC [3/8/99]
I've added a few more features, made it a bit more user-friendly and corrected
a *whole* bunch of bugs. Keep an eye out for v2.1 when I get the playlist working.
- JukeBox v1.51 for mIRC [3/5/99]
JukeBox is a little script that I made for mIRC not too long ago that allows
you to play mp3's through mirc and listen for [SOUND] events that contain mp3 files.
Included with that, you are able to select what files you want to play from a file
dialog box, so you don't have to memorize the names of the mp3/sounds you want to
play. You won't see any of the earlier versions, as they were too difficult to set
up or were had some bug or another that stopped the playing of certain files.
